INTERNATIONAL MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS MANAGEMENT PRACTICE - MRI SUITE Addition
This project is an addition to a facility that we designed 2007. Soon a clinic, wellness center and research laboratory will be built behind this folded blue divider. At that time this big wall will be tucked up like a stage curtain, and the whole facility will emerge. The big wall implies that the next project is on the way behind it. The other walls and ceiling design were planned to smoothly integrate into the final design. This temporary view will be seen until then. Inexpensive materials and paint finishes were used with the understanding that they would be short lived and be replaced soon. We developed a smiler color scheme to what we designed in the first phase, which was successful. The bright colors are meant to encourage the patients while they are waiting.

国際多発性硬化症医療研究所 MRI 増築
2007にわれわれの設計した多発性硬化症の医療研究所に二機のMRIを含む施設が増築されたものである。この後すぐ、アプローチの壁の裏側にさらに研究所とクリニックが付け加わる予定されている。そのとき にはこの壁が舞台のカーテンのごとく畳まれて全体が出現する。それまではこの壁が患者を歓迎する。裏側でさらなる拡張が進んでいることを この少し孕んだ形状から想像させることを意図した。第三期のデザインにスムーズに繋がるように、今の天井や壁は計算されている。高価な材料は使 わず、もっぱらぺンキ仕上げが使われた。カラースキームは第一期で好評だったアイデアを発展させた。受付で待っている間に患者が励まされように、明るい色を用いた。
